You will be temporarily based at our office in the Netherlands, with relocation to our Ukrainian office in Kyiv when possible. 

Do you have what it takes?
In the role of Finance Controller, you will be part of our Projects Ukraine team. You will be responsible to provide detailed and effective finance control and support to our Ukraine business. 


Background & skills 

  • Accounting/finance background
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian accounting local standards
  • Accounting knowledge, IFRS Knowledge
  • Controlling experience                                                       
  • Strong analytical skills                                                        
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Managing big data files, well versed with Excel Macros, Power BI
  • Any experience with using programming languages for financial analysis or other related tasks will be an advantage           
  • Languages: Ukrainian and English

Ability to listen to others, reformulate and synthesize. Ability to work as a team, helpful, pedagogic abilities, rigorous, well-organized, reliable, ability to work autonomously and flexible.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare monthly financial reports. 
  • Prepare and submit Group financial reporting (MRF, BPM, dashboard, KPI).
  • Prepare and submit ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Support team overall on all financial and accounting matters.
  • Communication with corporate finance team and external accounting services provider
  • Develop, together with the business, budgets including presentations and evaluate Budgets vs Actuals. 
  • Follow-up of the P&L and Balance sheet of legal entity in statutory book and BPM report on monthly basis.
  • Assist the Business with development and implementation of various procedures and processes to comply with local regulations and internal Group rules.
  • Support on internal/ external audits; follow-up and implementation of all audit improvement actions within the agreed timeline.
  • Coordinating with corporate finance department for approval of LC, BG, Banking limits, renewal of guarantees /comfort letters, loans.
