In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for executing the orders/projects booked from the moment of sale until final delivery. Through proper and accurate execution, which includes order management, logistics documentation and all related activities. You actively contribute to the customer satisfaction.


Background & skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, supply chain or logistics
• Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) PRINCE 2 certification will be an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Logistics (shipping, customs clearing, trucking)

What you’ll be doing

Order management
- Coordinate all activities on the full order cycle, from sales contract to project closing.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, channel partners and customer services to execute the order.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Keep logs and records of stock, executed orders etc.

Stock management
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Ensure compliance with ArcelorMittal HSE standards during operations at the warehouse

Rental / S&BB Stock management
- Execute all rental and/or sale and buy-back agreements in line with the contract
- Undertake material inspection and re-certification of all returned material

Miscellaneous tasks
- Risk Management: Apply sound risk management principles to all aspects of project activities to ensure all risk factors are avoided, mitigated and/or managed in the best interests of ArcelorMittal Projects, clients and staff. The Objective of this is also to reduce the time and cost of change/implementations.
- Contractual: Support contract development and/or negotiation with clients and suppliers.
- Procurement: Support supplier selection and management aligned with sound ethical business practice and ArcelorMittal Group policy.

After-sales
- Offer after-sales support and handle techno-commercial claims (if necessary, with backup from the technical team)
- Issue Credit Notes, where applicable

Communication & interaction with other departments
- Advise Management & Sales on plans and policies, and highlight consequences and/or required actions.
- Maintain functional relationships with Sales, Production, Procurement, BD, F&C, QA/QC, HR and IT on matters concerning daily operations, exchange of information, knowledge and experience.
- Report on PM KPIs regularly to the management
